OUR SERVICES

Who We Work With

Evolve Psychotherapy welcomes teens, adults, and pre-teens navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, ADHD, and life's harder moments. As a queer and neurodivergent-affirming practice, we provide a space where LGBTQ2S+ and neurodivergent clients can feel truly seen, not just tolerated. We also work with first responders processing the unique demands of their work. Wherever you're starting from, you'll be met with a plan that's built around you, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Frequently Asked Questions

We start with a biopsychosocial assessment, this is just me getting to know you: your history, what's brought you in, and what you're hoping will change. From there we set clear goals together and use a brief formal assessment so we both have a baseline. We'll revisit that assessment down the road so you can actually see your progress, not just hope it's happening.

Both are body-based approaches to trauma, meaning they work with how trauma is held in the nervous system, not just how it's remembered. EMDR uses guided eye movements to help reprocess difficult memories. Somatic therapy focuses on the physical sensations connected to stress and trauma. I often use them together, alongside cognitive processing therapy, depending on what fits you best.

Direct, structured, and collaborative. I'll tell you what I'm seeing, even when it's not what you want to hear, because that's usually what helps. Most clients tell me they appreciate having a clear, concrete plan for how therapy will progress and when they can expect to see change.
